What did Feynman say to Tomonaga ?  Here is a layperson's translation of what Feynman, in an ironic tone, said to Tomonaga.(The original quote was written by Tomonaga in Japanese).
In the dark, under a street lamp, a guy is searching for something.  When asked he replies 
'' I lost my key over there but its too dark there so I am looking for it over here, where I can see ".    Searching only where one can see ? - rather like the current Physics research !
It's an encouragement to us all who search for unconventional answers.
